JPEGMAFIA type podcast

Guests: JPEGMafia

Week after week we drop off fire podcasts for your ears and eyes and this week is NO different. It’s a honor and a privilege to be a consistent source for conversational media in the digital world. I don’t take that lightly and Tony Trimm doesn’t either. We’re gonna take a break from our usual topical format and dig into the vault a little bit. In July we recorded an episode with JPEG Mafia. He’s a poet laureate from Baltimore with the vocal cords of a 98 year old carnival barker. He has an amazing album called “All my Heroes are Cornballs“. It’s on the internet everywhere. No excuses, don’t fight me on this.

Open Mike Eagle and Video Dave

Guests: Open Mike Eagle, Video Dave

The New Negroes with Baron Vaughn and Open Mike Eagle premieres on Comedy Central today and we’re lucky enough to have a 3 month old podcast with Mike that we can release concurrently.  The amazing and multi-talented Video Dave Maxime also sits in to join me and Tony Trimm on a brutal January night in Chicago.  I’ll have to research this stat but I’m pretty sure that me and Mike are the first RA and resident combo to have TV shows on the same network.  The episode was fun.  You know what it is.   Check out the New Negroes on Comedy Central.
