Danny Brown‘s Danny’s House is coming to VICELAND next month. The network set a premiere date for the show to debut on July 17. A trailer was also unveiled on Tuesday (June 11), featuring an original theme song from Brown and a plethora of guests who will make appearances.
The new series takes place in Brown’s basement and is executive produced by Derrick Beckles, who previously worked on The Eric Andre Show and Mostly 4 Millennials. With his eclectic taste, the Detroit native casts a wide net as far as those that will join him on set. The list seen in the trailer currently includes A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, El-P, Hannibal Buress, wrestler “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, comedian Ron Funches, and more.
DB also has a new album on the way. Back in May, the 38-year-old shared to Highsnobiety that his forthcoming LP, titled U Know What I’m Saying?, would be executive-produced by Q-Tip, but other producers still contributed to the effort. There hasn’t been any word since regarding a possible release date to his Exhibition Atrocity follow-up.
Make sure to tune in to VICELAND on July 17 at 10 p.m. ET for the premiere. Watch the Danny’s House trailer for season 1 below.
