Hey what’s up, it’s Hannibal. My mother’s side of the family is from a small town called Isola, MS. Isola is literally short for Isolation. It’s a small town that used to be overrun by gigantic catfish but eventually human regained power and took over. The catfish shrank to a reasonable size. Now it’s very quiet. It’s where they invented quiet. There’s never any noise.

A couple years ago my cousin opened a nightclub called Playaz Palace and this year we decided to have the 2nd ever Isola Fest. 3 days in extremely rural Mississippi. Comedy, music, games, food, and fun. We have some crazy surprises too!

What is Isola Fest?

It’s a festival in Isola, MS. This is the second year. It’s May 22-24. That’s Friday through Sunday. There will be comedy, music, food, and surprises.

If you’re flying in, you’ll fly to Jackson, MS and then rent a car and have one of the flattest 90 minute drives that has no traffic.

If you’re driving from anywhere else just put 215 Julia St Isola in your GPS and let the robots track and guide you to Playaz Palace.

How much does this cost?

It’s $30 for a one day pass. $60 for a 3 day pass $75 for a 3 day VIP package.

Where do I stay?

If you need lodging, there is no lodging in Isola unless you want to bring an RV or something. There’s LOTS of room for that. My grandmother has a spare room but I’ll be using that unfortunately. There are multiple 2 star hotels 15 minutes away in Indianola. We can help you with booking a room if you’d like.

Why are you doing this?

Since it’s my cousin’s club, I don’t have to pay crazy fees. These Livenation venues have been taking a toll on my bottom line. Also, whenever I’m in Isola I get hit with crippling boredom so this is a way to combat that.
